Nutrient Planning in the Lincolnshire Wolds

Free workshop providing an introduction to nutrient planning and will aid in NVZ and Assurance Scheme compliance, and lunch is provided.

In its 5th year of cropping by direct drilling, Scamblesby Farms utilises organic manures for all of its’ P & K requirements.

This event will include;

  • An introduction to nutrient planning.
  • Lots of worked examples using the Tried & Tested NMP.
  • Links to NVZ record keeping.
  • Soil testing.
  • The £ value of manures.
  • Spreading of manures & fertiliser; dos & don’ts.
  • Further 1:1 advice available under the Wolds Project.
