Incidents of flooding followed by periods of drought are becoming increasingly commonplace with experts predicting longer and more severe droughts interspersed with more frequent, intense rainfall events to come.
The NFU will be turning up the volume considerably in our their for an integrated water management strategy that links our approaches to managing floods and droughts – approaches that all too often stay rooted in their own silos.
